This latest model has just arrived in the UK (June 2008) and due to it's slide out second panel, now charges even faster than previous models. It's also compatible with even more devices including mobile phones, PDA's, and even iPods (see full list below).

There is nothing worse than loosing mobile phone power when you're out and about, so get yourself a solar charger and you'll not only avoid communication meltdown but you'll be saving the environment too.

By adding extra connectors this charger is now compatible with almost all current mobile phones, PDA's, digital cameras, and even iPods. Please see the specifications and images at the bottom of this page which indicates included standard compatibility and extra compatibility.

This little solar phone charger is slim enough to fit in your pocket, but when needed you can slide out the extra high powered 5.5V / 300MA solar panel. As this effectively means it has 2 solar panels, it charges your phone around twice as quickly as most other solar chargers on the market.

Our super compact solar mobile phone charger is perfect for those who are often away from power points. As standard, it comes with 9 adapters for 99.9% compatibility.

The gizmo itself includes a rechargeable battery pre installed inside it, which means that even when you're not actually charging a device, the solar panels are continually charging the integrated battery and storing up energy for when you need it most. Therefore, by using this stored energy, you can charge up your required gadgets even when the sun has gone down.

You can even connect it to your computer's USB port (with the included cable) and charge up the gadget very quickly without the need for the sun at all, so it's ready to be used as a portable charger when you're out and about.

The unit is conveniently small is size (measuring only 9 x 6 x 1.5cm) so can be taken anywhere with you in case you need a quick charge.

Important note: The first time you charge the device, we recommend you give it a full charge via the USB cable (supplied) connected to your computer. This will increase the efficiency and power of the battery in the long run.

I wish I had bought 100 of these from u guys and taken them to Glastonbury. You should have seen the queues just to charge up your phone, while I just chilled out and used my solar charger. A brilliant gadget and environmentally friendly too!

This is an amazing price. I was in a 6 hour car journey and had forgotten my phone charger. I was so annoyed because I had just received a call from my bank which was very important, when my phone started flashing violently low battery! I remembered my Solar Powered Mobile Phone Charger which was in the compartment and it was fine. This small device is brilliant, its portable, small and nowhere near as expensive as it should be, plus it is so easy to use what more could you want.
