You need to be pretty cool to scale an ice wall, they are incredible! Kept at a constant temperature of 12 degrees, they are purpose built by hand, creating several different ice faces, complete with bumps, crevices and icicles, to suit a range of abilities from novice to experienced, slopes to steep overhangs, vertical canyons and confined canyons. It took over 100 tonnes of snow to create approximately 300 cubic metres of solid ice.

Main Events:
On arriving at your venue at the venue you'll be met with your instructor, who will conduct a full safety low down and show you different climbing techniques. next it's time to get kitted up with all the safety gear before you head to the ice wall. Your climb will be under strict supervision of an instructor at all times and tuition is on a one to one basis. this adventure day lasts for about one and a half hrs, including low down time and the issuing of safety equipment. You'll spend a minimum of 40 mins in the ice tower.

On purchasing this experience you will be issued with a voucher valid for 10 months. Participants must be a minimum 13 years old. Under 16s must be accompanied with an adult. All participants must be in reasonable health and able bodied. All tuition is on a one to one basis and there will be a maximum of 5 climbers per session. Participants are advised to wear loose fitting clothing and all specialist clothing and equipment will be supplied on the day.
